The New Walden Magic Mega SUP is our shorter, wider, high performance version of our Standard Magic SUP. Like our Mega series of surfboards we wanted our Mega SUP to be both stable and agile. The wide outline and flat deck creates both stability and adds volume. We added several elements like the step deck which thins out the rails and a wing tail  that when combined allows for more maneuverable and easier turns. The Mega SUP is designed for early intermediates to advanced SUP'ers, and it has enough volume to float someone up to about 230. lbs. With the Mega Magic SUP you can size down from a traditional SUP and step up performance without compromising stability. Available in EPS only.

Dimensions: 8'6 x 19 1/4 x 31 x 19 1/2 x 3 7/8

About the Mega's: The Mega Magic is our widest Magic with the most condensed volume. We take volume from the length and redistribute it to the width and thickness while maintaining our famous Magic performance. The Mega has the classic Magic elements: hard rails, concave bottom & lots of rocker. About 1/2” - 1” thicker and 1-2” wider than a standard board. The Mega Magic will float like a board that is 12-18" longer. For the bigger guy that normally rides a 10', with the Mega he can ride a 8'-9' without giving up float or stability. The Mega Magic has been a best seller since it was launched about four years ago.  White with blue stripes.

About EPS:  Expanded Polystyrene is a type of foam also known as styrofoam or bead foam. Polystyrene beads are expanded to their desired density by using steam and a variable quantity of beads in a mold. Hand shaped EPS/Epoxy boards are different from molded Epoxy boards which is what we traditionally mean when we say Epoxy.  Since the core is very light, the finished product is about 20% lighter than a polyurethane construction and more rigid. Our Mega Magics have so much volume we only use EPS for the Mega's to keep the weight down.
