Lance Armstrong Foundation

The Lance Armstrong Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist, Lance Armstrong the LAF inspires and empowers people with cancer. The LAF believes that in the battle with cancer, unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything.

This event has become one of the premiere benefits in southern California and is one of the most successful surfing related fundraiser's in the world. It is a unique gathering in the true "aloha" spirit of those in the business and surfing fraternities who care about cancer research.

Founded in 1979, the UCSD Cancer Center is one of just 60 centers in the United States to hold a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation. As such, it ranks among the top centers in the nation conducting basic and clinical cancer research, and providing advanced patient care. The center’s mission is to translate promising scientific discoveries into new and better options for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and the amelioration of pain

The Roxy Jam Cardiff Featuring the Linda Benson Women's Longboard Pro is a huge milestone for female longboarders who, until now, have received very little support from the pro surfing circuit. Thanks to the support of Roxy and the ASP, female longboarders finally have a real tour in which to compete.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities.

The C Street Longboard Classic in Ventura, California is a longboard event open to amateur surfers of all ages.
